This Privacy Policy explains how DayRhythm handles information when you use the DayRhythm Android app. DayRhythm is a daily planning app that helps you create tasks, schedule work, track progress, and use Day AI planning support.

Information DayRhythm Handles
DayRhythm is designed around local task planning. Depending on how you use the app, it may handle:
- Task details you enter, such as titles, descriptions, status, priority, estimated time, dates, and review flags.
- Planner chat content, such as prompts you type to Day AI and responses shown in the app.
- Local app preferences and state needed to show your tasks, calendar, and planner history.
- Device network state used to support optional model downloads and connectivity-aware behavior.
The current DayRhythm planner experience does not require contacts, precise location, microphone access, advertising ID, or financial account information.
How Information Is Used
DayRhythm uses information to:
- Create, edit, schedule, archive, and display your tasks.
- Show daily progress, time remaining, and calendar ranges.
- Let Day AI help draft plans or update tasks based on your instructions.
- Maintain app reliability, restore UI state, and support offline planning behavior.
- Download an optional local Day AI model only when you choose to start that download.
Local Storage
DayRhythm stores task data and planner history locally on your device using the app's local database. Local data remains on your device unless a feature you choose requires network access, such as downloading the optional local Day AI model.
Network Access And Third Parties
DayRhythm may use internet access for optional model download behavior and for platform or library functionality included in the app. The app configuration reviewed for this policy disables Firebase data collection by default and blocks legacy backend calls that are not part of the current DayRhythm planner experience.
DayRhythm does not sell your personal information. DayRhythm does not show third-party advertising in the current planner experience.
Data Sharing
DayRhythm does not intentionally share your locally stored task content with other users or advertisers. If you choose to use a feature that downloads a local model, your device may contact the model hosting service to retrieve that file.
Data Retention And Deletion
Task and planner data stays on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. If DayRhythm later adds account-based sync or cloud features, this policy will be updated before those features are made available.

Security
DayRhythm uses Android platform storage and app sandboxing for local app data. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so you should avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into task titles, descriptions, or planner prompts.
Children's Privacy
DayRhythm is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed as a children's app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through DayRhythm, contact us so we can review the request.
International Users
If you use DayRhythm outside your country of residence, any optional network requests may be processed through infrastructure located in other regions. Local task data remains stored on your device unless you choose a feature that sends or downloads data.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when DayRhythm changes, when app behavior changes, or when legal or platform requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
